Before you start

This form is for government officials applying for a Service or Diplomatic passport. Have these ready as clear scans or photos (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB each):

  • the request letter from your institution, signed and stamped;
  • the letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  • your NIRA national ID;
  • a recent passport photo with a white background;
  • your previous passport, if you have one (required for a renewal).

It takes about 10 minutes. You receive a reference number at the end to follow your application.
